Changing Leaves Enameled Glass Pendant in Teal

All fused glass pieces are crafted by Kimberly Bylo in her studio in Gatlinburg, TN. This beautiful changing leaves pendant was created using different colors of powdered enamels, that after firing in a kiln, give variation of color to the background piece of glass. Following the first fuse, the artist then uses mica powder to paint the veins of the leaves onto the glass. The pieces are then fused again to permanently set the imagery on the glass much like a glaze.
